FLOORING INSTALLATION AGREEMENT

Thank you for choosing us to install/repair your floor.  We appreciate the opportunity and are dedicated to superiority in our work.

The following is our agreement for the installation/repair.  For the value received, you and we agree to the following:

Flooring

Description of the flooring we are repairing/installing is detailed in your estimate.  By signing this document, you are acknowledging the details of the work to be completed and that all details are correct.

Furniture & Fixtures

• Your order includes moving       pieces of furniture/objects the size of an average sofa or smaller.  Additional items will be an extra $10.

• We do not move items which we deem unsafe or dangerous.

• Please remove all knick knacks and linens.

WE ARE CAREFUL WHEN MOVING ITEMS HOWEVER, ALL ITEMS ARE MOVED AT THE CLIENT'S OWN RISK.

Electronics

• We do not unhook/re-hook any electronic equipment.

• We do not unhook/re-hook any appliances that are hardwired.

Room Temperature

• Hardwood needs to be acclimated to the temperature of the job site 3 days prior to install in order to properly sustain the life of the floor.

Rip Up/Removal

• Pull up and removal of existing floor is not included unless specifically listed as such in your estimate.  

• We are not licensed to remove Asbestos.  We can go over it or you can hire an asbestos removal company.

• You will be quoted a basic rip up price.  For example: if the glue on the existing floor is really aggressive and during the rip up your subfloor becomes damaged, we cannot be held liable for these unforeseen circumstances.  If extra charges apply you will be notified and have the option of paying or doing the work yourself.  We will quote you a price for the labor to repair subfloor.

• For health reasons we reserve the right to refuse rip up/removal of urine soaked floors or other circumstances.

Additional Charges

• We cannot be held liable for unforeseen circumstances.  For example, it is impossible to know if your existing subfloor is damaged and needs repairing until existing floor has been removed.  If your subfloor needs repairing additional charges may apply.  Other similar circumstances arise from time to time.

Seams

• Seams will be professionally constructed but seams are not invisible.  Many factors affect whether or not it will be visible, including but not limited to; available light in room, thickness, construction, and color of carpet.

Quarter Round

• Needs to be removed for best installation.  Additional fee will be charged to put down quarter round.

​

Doors

• Door cutting is not included in your estimate should it become necessary.

​

Baseboards

• Some surface scratching may occur with carpet install.  Touch up is homeowner's responsibility.

Warranty

• We offer a one-year labor warranty on the flooring for residential, six-months for commerical.  We are not liable for damages or repairs to your floor that are not installation related.  We can assess and repair for an additional charge.
